RICHARD ZIEMBA
1937-2018
It’s with great sorrow that I announce the passing of our Club’s founder Richard Ziemba. Richard was born May 26, 1937 in Hartford Ct. He suddenly passed away in Branford, CT, on August 26, 2018.
Richard spent most his life in advertising, forming The Bedford Group. He may be most famous for the Town Fair Tire jingle, still in use today!
Richard Founded the North Haven Camera Club with 4 other members at the North Haven library, quickly moving to the North Haven Rec Center, which we rapidly outgrew, and later to the current location of Hope Church.
Richard was an enthusiastic and tireless leader willing to take on a challenge. He moved on from us to form the Silver Screen Movie Club and was a member of the Southern Ct. Cycle Club.
He also volunteered at Gaylord Hospital, Elim Park, and Smilow Cancer center.

The objective of our club is to bring together individuals interested in learning and improving the techniques of digital photography in a friendly environment. We always welcome guests to visit any one of our meetings with the hope that they become members and share in our passion of photography.
